Anthony Smith MEI - Principal consultant

Anthony is one of Rex's principal consultants. He has more than 26 years of practical experience in manufacturing and supply chain applications in the energy industry.

His experience derives from a background in process information systems development in global Oil and Petrochem organisations. Anthony's current focus is on business process optimisation and integration between Enterprise Resouce planning and manufacturing applications.

Anthony is an active member of the Energy Institute being the membership secretary for the UK Southern Branch.

Previously, Anthony has held several posts within other industry support bodies

• Member of the UK Data Harmonisation Group for the UN CEFACT ebXML initiative
• Member of the technical architecture committee for Chemicals Industry Data Exchange (CIDX) organisation
